House Rules
Dear Guests,
To ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay, we kindly ask you to read the House Rules before using Kamado Guesthouse. Please note that by using the Guesthouse, you acknowledge and accept these House Rules, agree to comply with them and accept responsibility for any damage resulting from failure to do so. These House Rules apply to all guests staying at the Guesthouse.
Check-in and Check-out Information
Kamado Guesthouse does not have a permanent reception. Self check-in is available using a lockbox. You may check in from 8:00 am on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, please leave the accommodation by 10:00 am. The owner or their representative can be present at the agreed arrival or departure time upon request.

Payment
The accommodation fee must be paid in advance. Your invoice will be sent to you by email. If you leave the accommodation before the end of your booked stay, we are unable to refund the accommodation fee.
Visitors
Only guests who have registered in advance may stay at the Guesthouse. If the number of people staying at the Guesthouse exceeds the number of guests booked and registered, an additional charge may apply. The owner reserves the right to terminate the stay if a Guest fails to comply with the House Rules or disturbs the peace.
Services Included
In addition to accommodation, the price includes: full use of the equipment and facilities; Wi-Fi; use of the sauna; use of the garden facilities; use of the Kamado grill; parking; use of the courtyard and garden.
Cleaning
The Guesthouse will be clean and fully prepared for your arrival. During your stay, please help us keep the house clean and tidy.
For stays of more than one week, complimentary cleaning is provided once a week, including a change of bed linen and towels. For shorter stays or where additional cleaning is requested, daily cleaning can be arranged in advance at a rate of HUF 20,000 per day.
Sauna
The sauna may only be used at your own risk and in accordance with the following rules.
Basic Rules
- Before using the sauna, we recommend taking a shower and drying yourself thoroughly.
- Wearing jewellery or glasses in the sauna can be dangerous and may cause burns.
- Food and drinks are not permitted in the wellness area or in the sauna.
- Please enter the sauna wearing a towel and without slippers. Flip-flops and other footwear are not permitted inside the sauna.
- You must use a towel or sauna sheet when sitting on the sauna benches. For hygiene reasons and for the comfort of yourself and others, please place a towel underneath you so that your body does not come into direct contact with the bench.
- The recommended time in the sauna is 10–15 minutes. After cooling down and taking a break of at least 20 minutes, the session may be repeated a maximum of twice, while always paying attention to how your body feels.
- Do not apply or pour any liquids, including sauna oils, onto your body or around the sauna. Water may only be poured onto the sauna heater using the ladle provided in the bucket. Never pour essential oils directly onto the stones or the heater, as this may damage the heater. Please pour no more than one ladle of water onto the heater at a time.
- After using the sauna, you must take a shower to cool down your body and help remove toxins.
- Sauna use is not recommended for children under the age of 14.
- Children under the age of 16 may only use the sauna under the supervision and responsibility of a parent or another adult.
The sauna must not be used by anyone who has a fever or infectious illness, has an open wound, is intoxicated, or is under the influence of drugs, sedatives or other mind-altering substances.
Pets
Kamado Guesthouse is dog-friendly. Well-behaved, house-trained dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. If you are travelling with a dog, please observe the following rules: Pets are NOT permitted in the wellness area. For hygiene reasons, pets are also NOT permitted on beds or sofas. The Guest is responsible for reimbursing the Service Provider for any damage caused by their pet. Please pick up after your dog throughout the entire property, place the waste in a bag and dispose of it in the appropriate bin. You can find further information in our Dog House Rules.
Garden Information for Guests Travelling with Pets
Kamado Guesthouse has a fully enclosed garden. Pets may roam freely in the garden solely at their owner’s responsibility. Please keep a close eye on your pets even while they are in the garden. The Guest bears sole responsibility for any escape or damage resulting from allowing a pet to roam freely.
Waste Disposal
Household waste should be placed in the bins provided in the kitchen. If these become full during your stay, please tie the rubbish bags securely and place them in the outdoor plastic waste bin.
Dining and Kitchen Use
The Guesthouse has a well-equipped kitchen. Please use all kitchen appliances and equipment only for their intended purpose. Please do not eat in bed; use the dining area instead. Do not place any objects containing metal in the microwave. Before departure, please remove all perishable food from the refrigerator.
Toilet
Please only flush the toilet paper provided down the toilet. Please place all other waste in the bins provided in the bathrooms, even if the item is biodegradable or paper-based.
Heating and Air Conditioning
When using the air conditioning, please keep all doors and windows closed.
Security Cameras
There are 5 security cameras operating in the outdoor areas of the Guesthouse for property protection purposes.
Smoking
Smoking and tampering with or disabling the smoke detectors are strictly prohibited inside the Guesthouse. Smoking inside the building – including the use of IQOS devices and electronic cigarettes – as well as the use of incense or any products with an open flame, such as candles or tealights, is PROHIBITED. Smoking is permitted outside the house. If the smell of cigarette smoke is detected inside the house after your departure, an additional cleaning fee of HUF 25,000 will be charged to cover the extra cleaning required. The Guest is also responsible for reimbursing the cost of any furniture or textiles damaged as a result of smoking, in addition to the applicable penalty.
We kindly ask Guests who smoke to help us keep the property clean by not discarding cigarette butts anywhere in the courtyard or elsewhere on the Guesthouse grounds. Please collect them and dispose of them in the bins provided.
Damage and Use of Furnishings
Please use all furniture, equipment and other items only for their intended purpose. Guests are financially responsible for any damage caused intentionally or through negligence. Please do not move decorative items from their designated places. Indoor furniture and other items, including beds, bed linen and mattresses, must not be taken outside into the garden. Moving furniture or other furnishings is prohibited.
Quiet Hours
Kamado Guesthouse is located in a quiet, peaceful residential area, so please be considerate of our neighbours. After 10:00 pm, any excessive noise is prohibited out of consideration for local residents and the surrounding neighbourhood. At any time of day, any behaviour on the Guesthouse premises, including the garden, that disturbs the peace, safety or privacy of others, or causes fear or distress, is PROHIBITED. In the event of complaints or behaviour requiring police intervention, the host may require the Guest to leave the property immediately. In such cases, the accommodation fee already paid will be retained as a penalty. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to consume alcohol or smoke anywhere on the Guesthouse premises.
Garden
Please take care of the plants and garden equipment. The Kamado ceramic grill may only be used with the equipment and charcoal provided. The use of lighter fluid to ignite the grill is PROHIBITED. If the use of lighter fluid is detected, a penalty of HUF 200,000 will be charged due to the potential damage caused.
Playground
The children’s playground in the garden may be used at your own risk. Please do not leave children unattended while using the playground.
Open Fires
Lighting an open fire is PROHIBITED. A gas burner and gas cylinder can be provided on request for use with the traditional Hungarian cauldron (bogrács).
Parking
Parking is available for our Guests in the courtyard and on the street directly in front of the Guesthouse. Please do not use the parking spaces belonging to neighbouring properties, even temporarily.
The driveway and courtyard can accommodate several vehicles, and the covered garage provides parking for two cars. Entering the courtyard and parking on the property is always at the Guest’s own risk. The Service Provider accepts no liability for damage resulting from parking-related incidents.
Securing the Property
When leaving the Guesthouse and at night, please lock both the gate and the entrance to the building. Please also make sure that all windows are closed whenever you leave the Guesthouse.
Reporting Problems and Personal Responsibility
Please report any faults or damage you notice at the Guesthouse immediately, so that more serious damage or accidents can be prevented. As a Guest, you are responsible for your own behaviour throughout the entire Guesthouse premises. We accept no liability for personal belongings left in the house or garden. Please note that we are unable to accept liability or provide compensation for damage resulting from circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters or hail, or for injuries resulting from improper use or irresponsible behaviour. Equipment and other items belonging to the Guesthouse must not be removed from the property, even temporarily.
By making a booking and checking in, you also accept these House Rules and agree to comply with all provisions contained herein.
