Privacy Policy on the Processing of Personal Data Provided During Booking

Békefalvi Kinga (registered office: 6521 Vaskút, Petőfi Sándor utca 52., Hungary; tax number: 91958015-2-23), as the operator of Kamado Guesthouse (“Kamado Guesthouse”), provides the following information on the processing of personal data provided when making a booking through the kamadovendeghaz.hu website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (“Regulation”).

1. Data Controller, Persons Authorised to Process Personal Data and Data Protection Officer

With regard to the personal data provided during booking, the data controller is Békefalvi Kinga (registered office: 6521 Vaskút, Petőfi Sándor utca 52., Hungary; tax number: 91958015-2-23).

Kamado Guesthouse has not appointed a Data Protection Officer.

Providing the personal data requested during the booking process is a prerequisite for entering into the contract, as Kamado Guesthouse cannot record or fulfil the booking without the personal data required for the booking. Likewise, Kamado Guesthouse cannot issue the accounting document (invoice) without the necessary billing details.

  1. Recipients of Personal Data

The recipients of the personal data provided for the purpose of booking are:

  • Nethotelbooking Kft. (registered office: 8200 Veszprém, Boksa tér 1. A épület, Hungary; company registration number: 19-09-512827), which provides hosting for the booking system;
  • Sybell Informatika Kft. (registered office: 1138 Budapest, Tomori utca 34. 2. emelet, Hungary; company registration number: 01-09-293034; tax number: 25859502-2-41), which provides hosting for the website;
  • Sebők Eszter egyéni vállalkozó (registered office: 6300 Kalocsa, Széchenyi út 53. I/5., Hungary; tax number: 69858507-1-23), who provides web development services;
  • Billingo Technologies Zrt. (registered office: 1133 Budapest, Árbóc utca 6. I. emelet, Hungary; company registration number: 01-10-140802; tax number: 27926309-2-41), which provides the invoicing software;
  •  
  • KVALITAX Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (registered office: 6500 Baja, Kölcsey Ferenc utca 48/B., Hungary; company registration number: 03-09-112235; tax number: 11292805-2-03), which provides accounting services;
  • Magyar Turisztikai Ügynökség (registered office: 1027 Budapest, Kacsa u. 15-23., Hungary), which provides the accommodation management software;
  • Magyar Turisztikai Ügynökség Zártkörűen Működő Részvénytársaság (registered office: 1027 Budapest, Kacsa utca 15-23., Hungary; company registration number: 01-10-041364; tax number: 10356113-4-41), which provides hosting for the fulfilment of statutory data reporting obligations relating to the accommodation;
  • Nemzeti Adó- és Vámhivatal (National Tax and Customs Administration of Hungary).

Kamado Guesthouse does not disclose the personal data provided during booking to any other persons. Kamado Guesthouse does not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area, nor does it make such data available to any international organisation.

  1. Duration of Processing

Kamado Guesthouse processes your personal data until the end of the eighth year following the fulfilment of the booking.

  1. Your Rights in Relation to the Processing of Your Personal Data

To exercise your rights in relation to the processing of your personal data, you may contact Kamado Guesthouse at info@kamadovendeghaz.hu.

Kamado Guesthouse will respond to your request to exercise your rights as a data subject within a maximum of one month of receiving the request. The day on which the request is received is not included in this time limit.

Where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests, Kamado Guesthouse may extend this period by a further two months. Kamado Guesthouse will inform you of any such extension, together with the reasons for the delay, within one month of receiving your request.

You may exercise the following rights in relation to the processing of your personal data:

5.1. Right of Access

You may request confirmation as to whether Kamado Guesthouse processes your personal data. If Kamado Guesthouse processes your personal data, you have the right to obtain information about:

  • what personal data Kamado Guesthouse processes about you, on what legal basis, for what purpose and for how long;
  • to whom Kamado Guesthouse has provided access to your personal data or to whom it has transferred your personal data, when and on what legal basis;
  • the source from which your personal data originates;
  • whether Kamado Guesthouse uses automated decision-making, including profiling, and information about the logic involved.

At your request, Kamado Guesthouse will provide you with one copy of the personal data undergoing processing free of charge. For any further copies requested, Kamado Guesthouse may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs.

In order to comply with data security requirements and protect your rights, Kamado Guesthouse must verify that the identity of the person making the request corresponds to that of the data subject. Therefore, the provision of information, access to personal data and the provision of copies are subject to verification of the data subject’s identity.

5.2. Right to Rectification

You may request that Kamado Guesthouse rectify or complete inaccurate or incomplete personal data concerning you without undue delay.

If you are able to provide credible evidence of the accuracy of the corrected data, Kamado Guesthouse will fulfil your request within a maximum of one month and notify you accordingly using the contact details you have provided.

5.3. Right to Erasure

Kamado Guesthouse will erase your personal data without undue delay where: (i) Kamado Guesthouse no longer needs the personal data for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed; (ii) Kamado Guesthouse has processed your personal data unlawfully; or (iii) Kamado Guesthouse is required to erase the personal data in order to comply with a legal obligation.

Where Kamado Guesthouse has made the personal data public and is obliged to erase it, it will take all reasonable steps to inform other controllers processing the personal data that you have requested the erasure of any links to, or copies or replications of, those personal data.

5.4. Right to Restriction of Processing

You may request that Kamado Guesthouse restrict the processing of your personal data where:

  • you contest the accuracy of the personal data, in which case Kamado Guesthouse will restrict processing for the period necessary to verify the accuracy of the personal data;
  • the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of the personal data and request the restriction of their use instead; or
  • Kamado Guesthouse no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of processing, but you require the restriction of the personal data for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

In such cases, Kamado Guesthouse will continue to store your personal data but will otherwise process them only with your consent, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or for the protection of the rights of another person.

5.5. Right to Data Portability

You have the right to exercise your right to data portability in respect of processing based on the performance of a contract, provided that the processing is carried out by automated means (electronically). In such cases, Kamado Guesthouse will provide your personal data to you, or to another controller designated by you, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

  1. Steps You May Take in the Event of an Infringement

6.1. If you believe that Kamado Guesthouse has infringed your rights in the course of processing your personal data, please contact Kamado Guesthouse at info@kamadovendeghaz.hu.

6.2. 6.3. If your rights relating to your personal data have been infringed, you may also bring legal proceedings before a court for the protection of your personal data. The court will hear such proceedings as a matter of priority. In this case, you may choose to bring proceedings before the competent court according to your place of residence (permanent address), your place of stay (temporary address), or the registered office of Kamado Guesthouse.
